It’s one thing when we recognise a D&T Mechanical team member for their achievements, but it’s another when one of our clients goes out of their way to do it. That’s exactly what happened recently when Mechanical Engineer Fraser Morgan was recognised for his outstanding commitment to health and safety on site.
D & T Mechanical were on site at St Edmunds Hall for Dowds, where Fraser was part of our on-site team. During a Health & Safety visit, Barry McAleese, Mechanical Site Supervisor at Dowds, observed Fraser demonstrating exemplary safety practices. From wearing full and correct PPE to safely using his access equipment with the safety bar locked in place, Fraser ensured every detail met the highest safety standards.
In recognition of his professionalism and proactive approach, Barry presented Fraser with a voucher as a token of appreciation, a well-deserved acknowledgement of his efforts to keep both himself and his colleagues safe.
At D & T Mechanical, safety is more than a policy, it’s a core value. We promote a culture where every member of the team takes personal responsibility for working safely and supporting others to do the same.
Our commitment to best practice is underpinned by a full range of industry accreditations, including:
- CHAS
- Constructionline Gold
- SafeContractor
- Gas Safe
These accreditations reflect the high standards we uphold across all projects, ensuring compliance, consistency, and confidence for our clients.
Congratulations, Fraser – an excellent example of D & T’s values in action and a reminder that safety always comes first.
